Before starting Parker Grant, co-founder David Parker worked with local entertainment juggernaut 313 Presents.
With 313, in partnership with Levy Food Service, Parker managed hospitality for all tours and artists that came through the 15,000-seat DTE Energy Music Theater, the 7,700-seat Meadowbrook Amphitheatre, and the 7,200-seat Freedom Hill Amphitheatre. These are Michigan’s premier outdoor concert venues, pulling in the biggest global artists every summer. Parker dealt with Live Nation on a day-to-day basis to ensure that all green rooms, backstage experiences, and entry and exit were tailored to each artist’s individual preferences.
He also oversaw food and beverage for the Detroit Pistons practice facility, coordinating meals with the front office staff and team nutritionist. Parker was instrumental in making the Pistons’ 2019 move from their longtime suburban facility to downtown Detroit smooth and painless.
His years of experience working with some of the world’s biggest acts is a central part of the Parker Grant experience—we are comfortable working in any room, from backstage with Garth Brooks and Bob Seger to late-night meals with future hall of famers.
