Bay Harbor occupies five exclusive miles along Little Grand Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan. The upscale community is home to restaurants, hotels, world-class golfing, waterfront condos, boutique shopping, a state-of-the-art marina, and the Great Lakes Center for the Arts. We worked with Bay Harbor to develop a handful of projects that enhanced the luxury experience for residents and guests.
We rebranded an old steakhouse into Fox and Rose, a new concept that served dishes inspired by classic American cuisine and cozy European bistros (think: crab cakes, filet mignon, double-cut pork chops), while remaining approachable to families (shrimp tacos, fresh smoked turkey wraps, and wings). Northern Michigan is home to a bounty of farms, so our chef incorporated locally sourced ingredients into the ever-changing seasonal menu. Our team redesigned the front-of-house, concepted the menu, and brought in exchange students on summer work visas.
Down the street from Fox and Rose, we opened a boutique market that served espresso drinks, artisanal wood-fired pizzas, cured meats, and other locally-sourced provisions. In addition to the market and restaurant, we catered exclusive events and dinners for local homeowners.
The crown jewel of Bay Harbor is the non-profit Great Lakes Center for the Arts, which opened its doors in the summer of 2018. The performing arts venue is home to events year round and its 527-seat theater hosts everything from ballet to film. We oversaw the black-tie grand opening, managing an exclusive guest list of dignitaries and donors. We’ve continued handling catering for VIPs and celebrities—from Mitch Albom and Jeb Bush to Judy Collins and MTV co-founder Les Garland—curating their green rooms and creating an unrivaled backstage experience.
